On Monday, the CBI team filled a case against builders of Ambience Mall in Gurugram. The case has been file because of the illegal construction on a land that was originally allotted for housing projects. Before filing up the case, CBI conducted raids at four locations in Delhi and Haryana on around the premises. After a month of ordering CBI to probe against the illegal building of a shopping mall, this case was file. Therefore, this shopping mall was adjacent to the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway.
Probing further, the CBI asked to register an FIR within six weeks of July 10. Within three months a submit report will take place and then complete investigations will be there in six months. After the PIL, a High court order was pass it was alleging that 18.98 acres allotted for the housing project is use illegally. After Public Interest Litigation only, a case has been file against the builders of that illegal Ambience mall.
PIL (Public Interest Litigation) states that the land given to the builders for housing projects is now use for the ambiance mall. Moreover, this is an illegal construction so the case will be file for violation of rules. Government officials said that this is a very wrong way that a housing project has been used by the builders for construction of the mall. Hence, this is the reason why CBI investigation was there and why CBI file a case against it.
The builders who promised the buyers to have an 80% reservation around open and community services have moved an application. The application moved was regarding delicensing eight of the 18.98 acres and seeking permission to have a commercial complex. The court said that there is a high possibility of a builder acting in collision with some other authorities. Therefore, Punjab and Haryana High Court passed a division of bench.
