The application for bail in Salman Khan’s blackbuck poaching case will be decided today post lunch. The Jodhpur sessions court today morning heard final arguments over Salman’s bail plea and the judge retired to his chamber saying he needed more time to think over the application.
Ravindra Kumar Joshi, the judge hearing Salman’s bail plea, has been transferred from his current post. He is among 87 judicial officers who have been transferred by the Rajasthan High Court in a routine order.But he is not officially been relieved of his duties. He will be continued hearing over Salman’s bail application today.
It was a surprise to see that the judge who had given the verdict of five years imprisonment to Salman has also been transferred.
The superstar’s lawyer is planning to appeal Salman’s conviction and sentencing and has argued that he should be granted bail until the appeal is decided.
Salman’s lawyer told the court that the actor has been framed in this case and he is innocent. The lawyer also asked that court as to who would be responsible for Salman spending time in jail if the case was overturned.
