According to the recent news, we found that the portals of Kedarnath Temple got opened today at around 6:10 pm today. After a break of six-month-long winters, the portals finally got opened today. The temple was decorated very beautifully with 10 quintals of flowers and the committee official said all this.
This was the first time when the Abhishek and aarti are going to be done without the devotees. The temple is opened but the devotees are not allowed to go to the timekeeping in mind about the outbreak of COVID-19. Therefore, this is the very tough time when the puja is going to be done only by priests but no devotees with be there. From the updates from Kedarnath Temple, we got to know that the first puja was done on the behalf of Indian Prime Minister that is Narendra Modi. The people from the shrine’s committee and other officials were there to attend this puja.
Meanwhile, after all this, the CM of Uttrakhand that is Trivendra Singh Rawat extended his warm wishes for all the devotees and the people available there in the shrine. He also prayed for the good wealth and health of the nation India. He says that with the help of Baba Kedar, we are going to face these tough times and are going to defeat this coronavirus. Furthermore, he said that the devotees are not allowed to visit Kedarnath, but still, the wishes of god are with them all.
The shrines of all the four Himalayan temples open in the month of April and May only after the break of this winter. The Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines got opened on 26th April that was Akshay Tritiya. Ergo, the shrines of Badrinath will open on May 15th, 2020.
