Recently, the government of India has decided to start up the railway services in India. It has been noted that the railway services are going to start from tomorrow that is May 12th, 2020. After a lockdown period of 50 days finally, the railway services have been opened for a few people only. The national transporter said that the lockdown is still in force, so keeping this thing in mind they have made a few protocols for the people who want to travel through trains from one place to another. Therefore, they also said that people should strictly follow these rules of social distancing because the threat of pandemic coronavirus has not yet gone from the country. - All the trains are going to run from the national capital of India that is Delhi. Therefore, people can reach only 15 destinations after the opening of railway services. The 15 destinations are Dibrugarh, Agartala, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Buwneshwar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahemdabad, Jammu Tawi, Howrah, Secundrabad, and Thiruvananthpuram.
- The trains will not be available with general bogies.
- To ensure the rules that have been made to fight with coronavirus all the seats will not be available. In simple words, social distancing and health norms will be strictly followed while traveling also.
- All the passengers having confirmed tickets will be only to enter the railway station. Therefore, the booking counters at railway stations will be remained closed that means people who want to travel can only book their tickets online.
Hence, it was noted that the online booking of trains was delayed by two hours from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. If you are interested to go to any of these 15 destinations, then book your tickets now only through IRCTC website.
