Recently, we have found that ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) has said that we are aiming to launch the COVID vaccine. Sources said that this information has was given by ICMR through a letter, it was written that we are thinking to we have decided to come out with the COVID vaccine by August 15th, 2020. Moreover, they said that we are in patterns with Hyderabad- based Bharat Biotech for this public health use.
This news of the COVID vaccine by ICMR is envisaged to launch for public health by August 15th, 2020, after completion of all the clinical trials. BBIL is working so hard to meet the targets, however, the final outcome is going to come after the clinical trials. So, just wait for the good news of the COVID vaccine as the Indian Council of Medical Research is working expeditiously. Moreover, the Indian Prime Minister that is Mr. Narendra Modi had a high-level meeting to take the stock of indigenous vaccine effort. However, the Bharat Biotech Company has refused to comment on the matter at present.
Probing further, ICMR has said that we are confirming the authenticity of the letter but the letter was only for the sake of internal communication. But we don’t know how it leaked out, but still, it’s good news for people as we are very much inclined towards making up of COVID vaccine. Moreover, the project of vaccine is one of the top priorities in India and is being monitored at the top-most level of government, the statement further said. Ergo, India has been reported with more than 6 lakh cases of COVID and with 19,000 and more deaths till July 3rd, 2020.
