Evan Thomas Spiegel is an American internet Entrepreneur. He is the co-finder and CEO of the American Multinational Technology and the social media company Snapchat Inc. If we just talk about Snapchat Inc. It’s one of the leading social networking companies of the world, especially in India. Approximately, India has about 4 million snapchat users and nearly 3/4th of this companies employees are Indians. But a few days back a news broke out that snapchat’s CEO Evan Speigal is no more interested in expanding his works in “POOR COUNTRIES” like India. This news scandalised a lot of Indians. No one ever expected such a low opinion about our country. Obviously, this news has spread across Indians and it has lead down the star rating of the popular app from “FIVE STAR” on the app store to just a “SINGLE STAR” and other versions rating is now not more than “One and a half star” in just 24 hours after this news arrived.

The app trolled over various newspapers too. Hashtags like #boycottsnapchat have become the most trending hashtag over night after this news came out. Some convulsed users even wrote,” Poor India and Spain need much better than Snapchat “, “Goodbye, My Snapchat Account and Snap Inc. your product will soon be gone from this era and derision “, and “Poor Evan Spiegel” .
Rebelling steps by all
This bashing began when the US-based news website quoted Snapchat’s ex-employee Anthony Pompliano as saying that company CEO Evan Spiegel in September 2015 told him that “This app is only made for rich people.I don’t want to expand it in POOR countries like India and Spain. Indians haven’t taken the comment lightly and took it largely to social media to lash out this statement from the CEO and let him realise his mistake. As these ratings of the app dropped, the criticism of the CEO and this app kept on increasing second by second. Whereas, if we Indians think about it otherwise we can take it positively in many ways. As like, earlier we haven’t ever seen Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, all other sects of our nation from so long working over one particular issue together but as after this we are agitating together. Other than this, it might boost up our energies and make us work harder to prove ourselves as the best of all. Agitating badly against Mr Evan Spiegel would not at all give any benefits to us nor he would realise his mistake in a serious manner but if we will prove ourselves by making our county as No. 1, there would be change. There would be no better slap on his face than this.
