From the reports, it has been found that the global tally of coronavirus patients is around 72 lakhs, and more than 4 lakhs people have died all around so far. Along with this global news about COVID, we are out with another news that says that Delhi is expected to have more than 5 lakh cases by the end of July.
Manish Sisodia in a recent interview said that “If the COVID cases kept on doubling in the next 12 to 13 days, then there will be a shortage of beds for the Delhites.” The Deputy CM said this using a justification. Moreover, he said that according to the census Delhi is going to report more than 5 lakh cases by the end of July and there will be a need to accommodate more than 80,000 beds for all the infected people. After checking out the census, he asked the AAP party to reserve beds in Delhi hospitals for the residents.
Till June 15th, there will be around 44,000 COVID cases and we would need 6,600 beds. Therefore, with this increment in cases, Delhi NCR is going to have more than one lakh cases till June 30th. Hence, this is very bad news for the people as well as for the nation. After the meeting in Delhi today “whether there is community outbreak or not, this news has been coming out.” Now, the government is trying to reserve more and more beds for the upcoming COVID cases in Delhi. But if the cases kept on increasing and Delhi run shortage of beds, then who is going to take the responsibility.
