The central reserve police force department in Delhi got sealed today after a CRPF staff tested positive. The staff of CRPF was on duty in Delhi and on Sunday he got tested with novel coronavirus, ergo he is a senior official of CRPF.
CRPF senior official who was tested positive is named as Jawed Akhtar. After he tested positive the force of district surveillance informed the medical team to initiate all the required protocols. The officials gave the orders to seal the headquarters of CRPF. Along with Jawed Akhtar, 10 other personnel of the department have been home quarantined. Because it was noted that that 10 personnel were on duty with this senior official of CRPF. After all this, the authorities are working to track all the people that came in contact with this official of CRPF. Moreover, the sanitization of the building has been started and is going to be closed until the task of quarantine gets complete.
After all this, the CRPF official said that we contacted the surveillance department constantly, and after checking all the things they sanitized the department and proceeded with further things. He also told that no one will be allowed to enter the building till the time, everything comes back on track.
From the reports, it has been found that a driver of the CRPF department tested positive first and after that, he came in contact with Jawed Akhtar. Around 144 CRPF personnel from all over Delhi were tested positive with coronavirus and 135 from 31 Battalion Mayur Vihar Delhi. Moreover, one person has already died and more than 20 personnel are still waiting for their test results. Therefore, this is a very tough time for all the corona warriors.
