Delhi is the third highly affected COVID-19 state and according to the reports, it has been found the 200 healthcare personnel have also been affected. The health care minister of Delhi “Satyendar Jain” clarified about all this. He said that Delhi is the national capital and is having more than 3000 cases out of which 200 are healthcare personnel.
According to the reports, we came to a point that both the government and private healthcare personnel have been treated with infection of COVID-19. Furthermore, the news agencies also found that the staff working at COVID-19 dedicated hospitals are not testing positive. The positive healthcare COVID patients are from the non-COVID hospitals as per the reports of the healthcare minister of Delhi. After all this, he also that around 60 COVID positive healthcare personnel are from Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial. Whereas the rest of them are from Jahangirpuri (a hotspot of this deadly virus).
From the census, it has been found that Delhi is now having 3108 cases in total out of these 190 were reported yesterday. There are around 2177 active cases and around 877 COVID patients get cured while 11 are serious and on a ventilator. Ergo, the death toll is on 54. Hence, the health minister said that the doubling rate of Corona in Delhi is 13 days whereas in the country it is 9.1 days.
The ongoing extension is going to end till May 3rd, 2020, there is no further notice of extending the lockdown till know. The government officials are planning for further lockdown because the number of patients can go higher if the lockdown gets opened. These next five days will be crucial days as based on this decision will make, if lockdown is to be extended or not, till that time stay home, stay safe.
