The residents from a four-story house in Gurgaon were forced to move out as the building tilts due to heavy rainfall. According to the news reporting agencies, this building in Sector 46 has been evacuated. In the past two days, all the malls, buildings, offices, and multinational companies have been severely challenged. The Millennium City, Gurugram near Delhi was severely challenge because of the heavy rainfall in past days.
Along with the information of building tilts, a part of a major road near the busy Chowk IFFCO also caved in. No one has got any injuries but the road has been fully cordoned off. All these problems happening around the city of Gurugram are all due to the heavy rain. This is the first time when the Gurugram city was seen flooding this badly. According to the authorities, around 46 areas are flood-prone areas and many steps are announce to solve it out. This included tractor mounted water pumps, mobile response teams, 400 CCTV cameras, flood control room, 1500 policemen. All of this is for rain emergencies but residents still complains that nothing got change. Despite taking so many measures also nothing is changing yet.
The National Capital and other adjoining areas like Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad are receiving very heavy rainfalls. Therefore, this rainfall problem has caused waterlogging and traffic jams in the areas. So, many measures taking were there by the government for solving out this problem of flooding of areas but nothing helps out. Visuals posts on social media by local people show how cars submerge in water. Traffic crawling was also there in the images after flooding in underpasses. However, steps are constantly taken by the government to solve these issues but nothing is helping out.
