Recently, in a report, we got information that a terrorist got killed in an encounter on Wednesday that is 6th May 2020. This encounter was done in Pulwama district while a gun battle was going on with the security forces. Along with this, a search operation was also conducted to nab Hizb-ul-Mujahideen’s commander Riyaz Naikoo.
The police said that the operation is still going on Sharsali village in the Awantipora area where the terrorist was gunned down in the encounter. Moreover, they said that two operations are going on in South Kashmir Pulwama district from last Tuesday. These were the two operations that were launched by the department of police of J and K because they got and information about the terrorist’s entry in that area. One of the search operations is already going on in Beighpora Gulzapora, the native village of Hizbul operational chief Riyaz Naikoo, who is the senior-most commander in that valley.
From the sources, it has been found that the operation was launched to track him down. However, it is yet not clear that Naikoo is trapped or not. The senior police officer said that there are so many operations going in this district and the forces are conducting houses to house searches for all these completing all these operations.
Furthermore, security has been increased in the state of Jammu and Kashmir because there are so many operations going on. In addition, the security personnel has also got information about the entry of so many terrorists in that area. So, to save the lives of people security forces have been increased in that state.
