Dmytro Kuleba’s resignation from the post of the Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, is going to be a highly significant incident in the history of Ukraine. The sudden declaration of resignation on Wednesday, on the verge of Government change, was however expected.
The full-scale invasion from Russia led to an immediate change of Government for Ukraine. The sudden missile strikes from the latter inside Russia left deadly impacts on both nations. However, it was evident that the reshuffling of Ukraine’s Government could bring a better tomorrow.
Major Revelation From David Arakhamia
In a recent post on Telegram, Ukraine’s “Servant of the People” Party’s leader David Arakhamia, gave strong indications about Government reboot in Ukraine. The post also stated that the Cabinet will undergo a substantial change for more than 50% of the previous allotment. On Tuesday night, he declared that Layoffs would happen on Wednesday. Besides, the appointments will take place on the subsequent day, that is Thursday.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Hon’ble President of Ukraine, gave enough hints in one of these speeches for Tuesday night. He added that Ukraine is going to face several changes after this reboot. Moreover, there should be a new setup for their state institutions to achieve the desired results for them all. This will require suitable changes in several offices of the Cabinet, including his own.

Resignation Posted on Facebook
Kuleba’s resignation letter from his post as Foreign Minister came on Facebook on the morning of 4th September 2024, Wednesday. Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Parliament Speaker, uploaded this letter. Kuleba was the first person to notify his resignation in front of the public. It was a day with mixed reactions as Ukraine’s Foreign Minister ruled as the face of diplomacy to date. He served as one of the eminent personalities till the Russian invasion started hampering their lives in 2022.
After this resignation, other top-ranking officials of the Cabinet gradually submitted their resignations. Iryna Vereshchuk, the Deputy Prime Minister is one of these members. She shared her resignation letter on Telegram, along with the news of other leaders leaving the Cabinet. However, it is not finalized yet whether the officials giving resignations from their current posts will get any other post in the newly formed Cabinet. It is only a matter of time to see the outcome after the reshuffling.
President’s Opinion on Russian Invasion
On Tuesday, Zelenskyy stated in an interview that Kyiv would be holding the Russian territories as an initiative to stop further War. Undoubtedly, these seized territories played a significant role in his victory. The details regarding international partners will soon be released from Ukraine’s end. However, the country is not willing to keep Russian land captured for an extended period.
The President even added that Ukraine has been suffering losses on the East side, although it got a victory from the incursions. From Putin’s statement, it was clear that Russia succeeded in making faster advancements in the Eastern zone to prevent the invasion of Ukraine. Hence, the current scenario indicates regular attacks on Ukraine from different sides. The country has to bring some strict laws in order to protect the nation from further destruction.
Russia applied the same policies to attack Ukraine during winters since the last two years. Therefore, it is expected that it will continue the same this year, too, as the cold months are approaching. Ukraine is setting up strategies for drone strikes in the most profound territories of Russia as a strong campaign for the War.
